About Cari Trotter

My ministry, not unlike myself, are both still in the process of becoming all of that which God desires. Both started a million miles ago in the writing space of an eleven year old girls’ journal spilled over her white comforter on top of her four poster bed. It was there I began articulating and responding to the Lord. This passion for teaching, communicating and unlocking His Word was hammered and nailed in quiet places of the heart. It was woven together when no one was watching and no one cared, in secret places. It has been forged in sloppy places where life gets messy. It has planted roots where love felt lost, friendship seemed broken and church seemed empty.

If we are just being real honest here I’m just a girl that wanted real Freedom, like intrinsic soul freedom, and stuck her nose in the Word looking for answers….and boy, did it have answers. Like, real “feet-on-the-pavement-talking-my-language” answers. Real gritty answers I could sink my teeth into. Answers that unlocked my heart and my passion and my understanding of a God that was larger than I could have ever imagined. I have a degree in Apparel Design and Merchandising. I adore all things fashion, art, and beauty. I love how God picks unlikely candidates for ministry. I would be exhibit number one. I adore being a coach’s wife to my Coach Man and am extremely passionate about the three sharp arrows we are in the throws of raising. I am most ardently in love with God’s Word, I speak from my toes telling stories of my real life and am known to dance all over the stage in high heels energetically proclaiming God’s love. I am especially in love with seeing women unlock and release the Light of Jesus through His Word. I am head over heels for real Compassion and authentic Joy. My life pursuit is that I would see women not only step into the beauty of their callings through the understand of God’s Word, but that they would feel empowered and equipped to contribute a verse to Kingdom purposes.

I believe that God created the globe and all the gloriously beautiful things spinning around on it {Gen 1:1}. I believe in One God with three distinct and active persons {Father, Son and the Holy Spirit [1 John 5:7-8]} . I believe God is the Alpha and Omega, creating all things in Him, by Him and for Him {Romans 11:36}. I believe that Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life {John 14:6}. I believe that we must all be born again by acknowledging our sinful nature and accepting the scandalous Glory of Grace bought by the shedding of Jesus’ blood {Romans 10:9-10}. I believe that Jesus rose from the grave to set us free from the chains of Hell {1 Corinthians 15:3-4}. I believe in the power of the Holy Spirit working with active force through lives yielded to God’s purposes {Romans 8:11; John 16:13; Romans 8:9; 1 John 2:27}. I believe the Bible in it’s entirety to be the full and completed inspired Word of God spoken and written without error {2 Timothy 3:16-17}. I believe all of earth groans for the sure and guaranteed return of Christ {Romans 8:22}. I believe each of God’s children can contribute a verse to build up the beauty of the Kingdom {Isaiah 61}.

I live a very real life, with real problems and real needs. I know you are too. Finding a Real Savior is paramount. Negotiating the faith to believe Jesus is miraculously at work in my life means everything to Kingdom purposes. I do so hope that you will connect with me and with the ministry online at www.caritrotter.com – life and faith are better done together. I am always praying for new communities, new states, new churches, to experience and encourage to live beautifully brave lives of faith.

All is Grace,

“We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for. To quote from Whitman, “O me! O life!… of the questions of these recurring; of the endless trains of the faithless… of cities filled with the foolish; what good amid these, O me, O life?” Answer. That you are here – that life exists, and identity; that the powerful play goes on and you may contribute a verse. That the powerful play *goes on* and you may contribute a verse. What will your verse be?”
