Becoming | 2 Corinthians 9:10 | Devotional Two

Today we come to the place where we need to GATHER seeds. You cannot GROW unless you plant and you cannot plant unless you are given seeds to sow. Even if you are sowing seeds as small as mustard seeds they have the potential to reproduce an abundant harvest. In order to sow the Word into our lives, we have to activate it’s growth by speaking it, allowing it the space to wrestle within the earth of us. I encourage you to write it and memorize it through….not because we are legalistic, but because unless I sow seeds of Jesus I am naturally sowing seeds of my flesh which is void of reproducing an abundant fruit. My heart today is simply to fill our cups to overflowing with the Word and I encourage you to pray these words through

My heart and challenge today is simply to fill our cups to overflowing with the Word and I encourage you to pray these words through…..

“That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat beside the sea. And great crowds gathered about him so that he got into a boat and sat down. And the whole crowd stood on the beach. And he told them many things in parables, saying: “A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears,[a] let him hear.” {Matthew 13:1-8}

“And he will give rain for the seed with which you sow the ground, and bread, the produce of the ground, which will be rich and plenteous. In that day your livestock will graze in large pastures” {Isaiah 30:23}

“Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast.” {Jeremiah 31:27}

“Then he took of the seed of the land and planted it in fertile soil. He placed it beside abundant waters. He set it like a willow twig,” {Ezekiel 17:5}

“And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” {Luke 17:6}

“since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God;” {1 Peter 1:23}

“No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.” {1 John 3:9}

“He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.” 2 Corinthians 9:10
