Among us....there is Jesus.
There is such an ache for Heaven among us.There is a childlike joy among us.There is searing pain among us.There is abandon happiness among us.There is reckless brokenness among us.There is hope rising among us.There is loss excruciating among us.There is fear pressing among us.There is glory waiting among us.There are dreams mounting among us.There is salvation coming among us.There is Jesus among us.The Trotter Tribe checks each box every day. The world that surrounds us breaks forth the most exuberant Light. Our hearts nearly burst at the Brightness of it. Then, in a blink shadows fall and darkness ensues over the exact same globe we were just spinning joyfully around. Nothing satisfies either spin but Jesus. Only Jesus freely opens His hands and grants treasures from both worlds.Ache and Joy, Jesus.Pain and Happiness, Jesus.Brokenness and Hope, Jesus.Fear and Glory, Jesus.Dreams and Salvation, Jesus.Jesus.May you stir our affections for you, Father. May we find our hearts held and forever captivated by where You reside. Our notions need be fixed that Jesus is so presently near. Near in every way, dear hearts.Near to those so lost in hopelessness they are pondering the lie to take their own life...BUT God! As my beloved friend so beautiful states among the chaos….Cari, but God!Near to those living joy filled happy days with their babies’ smiles and free childlike giggles…but God is there!Near to those resting by the bedside of cancer….but God is there and Jesus is near!Near to those walking the tension of fear and glory. Of risk and safety…but God is there, hold fast!Near to those stepping across to the beauty of salvation…what Grace! Sin held tight, the devil played his hand….BUT GOD!!! My sin not in part, but the whole was nailed to that cross and I bare it no more! Praise the Lord, praise the Lord oh my soul!Oh, there is no other Name. He is the Name above all beloved Names. He is Jesus.Let Him cover every world you occupy.“Great is the Lord, and highly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Thy works to another, and shall declare Thy mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Thy majesty, and on Thy wonderful works, I will meditate. Thy Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Thy dominion endures throughout all generations. Thou dost open Thy hand, and dost satisfy the desire of every living thing.” Psalm 145:3-5; 13, 16“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His Holy Name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget none of His benefits; who pardons all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; who redeems your life from the pit; who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion; who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle.” Psalm 103:1-5Love you all so.
