BGCO Ladies Retreat Recap

Falls Creek 2013 "A Love that Bends Low"To those precious dear hearts that landed in one of my three sessions {some of you I saw in two sessions!  I love God giving us so much to uncover we want it more than once! :)} at the BGCO Ladies Retreat this year, thank you.I have genuinely tried over and over again to recap what happened and I simply keep coming back to one phrase…Shekinah Glory. The phrase ‘Shekinah Glory’ is the English spelling of a grammatically feminine Hebrew ancient blessing of God.  The original word means the dwelling or settling, and denotes the dwelling or settling of the divine presence of God.We certainly saw that, didn’t we ladies?!  For those that were in session they will know the full beauty and measure of what I’m talking about…prayerful that you are continuing to walk within the beauty of it as you have left “the Well” and gone back into your “Samaria”.  I have been so richly blessed by all the messages I have gotten.  You beauties risking such vulnerability to share with me how God moved in your hearts as we visited the well with the Samaritan woman deposits the deepest of gifts to my heart.  Oh, I love you so deeply. It always amazes me how by simply sharing how God is transforming my life through the Word, the Holy Spirit materializes it to a million different situations with such pinpoint accuracy – I mean I’m talking about reaching teens that just need a word to be stayed with Jesus – to women overcoming addictions anywhere from meth to alcohol – to women that have been so long in ministry they’ve lost their zeal and by hearing session God restored their zeal – to dear hearted mommas negotiating the strength to go one more day….all at once within the confines of the same Word given…Only God can do that.  Only God.And only God can sustain the work He started at the BGCO Ladies Retreat.  But specifically to those precious hearts that hiked that mountain to join my session in cabin 246 and found the most beautiful mountain view as we drank deep of Jesus’ nourishing Waters….you will be saved by the word of your testimony and the Blood of the Lamb.  Don’t allow the enemy to whisper isolation to you.  Bring the Truth out to the Light!  Your testimony of all that God did – and your zeal in re-telling it – will be LIFE for someone else.  It will be LIFE for you.“One gives freely, yet grows all the richer {meaning spiritual wealth increases}; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want {meaning spiritual poverty and spiritual need}.  Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.” Proverbs 11:24-25To those that risked vulnerability and bravely approached me with tears, hugs, messages, testimonies or prayers…..you are a most treasured jewel to me.  I am honored to stand alongside you, oh I can see your dear faces and I have “Jesus bumps” as a couple of women told me!  To those dear hearts I didn’t talk to one on one, but who sat in session and tears streamed down your precious, beautiful faces I can see you too and I…..love…you.  Deeply.  Oh, I can see your faces too and I don’t know what all the Jesus that loves you was cultivating but I know He was moving on your behalf and I am honored to have walked alongside you as you walked to the well.  To the women that sat on the floor each session because all the chairs where taken – oh how I love you!!!  You have no idea what a joy it is for me to be so tightly gathered together as we lean into Jesus.  I am still sitting with you on that cabin floor and I am praying God is speaking in whispers because His nearness is so woven into your spirit.  To the faces I recognized from last year and you beloved souls came back to hear me, to the women that made t-shirts with “Warrior Princess” based on Chapter 4 of “A Glorious Becoming”…words fall so short for how humbled I felt to see you and to know that you were and are rising and doing battle in Jesus Name…I’m amazed!!  Oh, Jesus was so there wasn’t He?!To all that were at the BGCO Retreat and heard my session or any of the REMARKABLE main sessions with Angie Smith, Lisa Harper or worship with Jeff and Jourdan Johnson – we are responsible for leaving our jars because we were so satisfied in Jesus and running back to our “Samaria’s” to tell the story.  Once others hear….they’ll come.  Might take them a bit, but they will join you at the well.  Then, Jesus will keep them there.  I promise.“So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all I ever did.  Can this be the Christ?”  They went out of the town and were coming to him.  Many Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me all that I ever did.”  So when the Samaritans came to him, they asked him to stay with them, and he stayed there two days.  And many more believed because of his word.  They said to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this is indeed the Savior of the world.” John 4:28-30; 39-42I love you so!!
